Full Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Project Manager in our Digital and Technology (D&T) Group., Please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas. We are currently operating a hybrid way of working, with a minimum of 40% of contracted hours working on site to enable the collaboration and contact with partners and stakeholders needed to deliver MHRA business. This may rise to 60% during the year. Attendance on site is driven by business needs so depending on the nature of the role, some roles will need to be on site more regularly., The post holder is responsible for leading and managing digital and technology projects and project teams on a day-to-day basis and is responsible for driving and overseeing their delivery to ensure that the objectives are clearly defined and achieved within the agreed time, cost and quality constraints.
They have a key role in project governance and working with stakeholders to ensure the agreed outputs are delivered and accurately reported using the Agencys programme and project management tool to ensure appropriate controls are in place to enable benefits realisation. Projects may follow waterfall and/or agile methods of delivery ensuring a fit for purpose approach appropriate to requirements for the desired solution.
The Digital Project Manager will be the initial escalation point for the project, supporting the programme manager and business owners by overseeing the delivery of the vision for the project. They will be responsible for management of the project budget, stakeholder management, risk, issue and dependency management and the realisation of project benefits.

The successful candidate will have significant experience of end-to-end project management of IT and digital change projects using different delivery methodologies and frameworks.
You will have a track record of setting up projects with the correct governance, to ensure risks and issues are reported accurately and assurance is provided to senior stakeholders and governance boards.
You will have strong financial acumen to enable accurate forecasting and delivery against agreed budgets and be comfortable communicating with diverse stakeholders including subject matter experts, peers, managers, customers and suppliers.
You should have excellent attention to detail and be able to work under pressure and at pace., In the instance that we receive a high number of applications, we will hold an initial sift based on the lead criteria of Experience of end-to-end digital and IT projects across a variety of complex projects using different delivery methodologies and frameworks., Successful candidates must undergo a criminal record check.

This is a full-time opportunity, on a permanent basis. The roles will be based in one of our two office sites in Canary Wharf, London or South Mimms, Hertfordshire.
