Full Job Description

As the Digital Sales Media Planner working alongside a dedicated Sales team, you will be responsible for ensuring that media planning is completed within the sales policy and deals are reported in accordance with the agreement between Paramount and the client.,

  • Providing expertise to your sales team and the wider planning team for best practice across Digital forms of media such as Streaming, YouTube and social media.
  • Pulling together multi-market media plans and having a good knowledge of these markets to give sound recommendations to your sales team.
  • Working closely with the Digital Operations team to ensure feasibility of deals and provide forecasted delivery to your sales team.
  • Ensuring that your sales team's forecasted deals are updated in our planning systems & the booking systems are kept updated with the latest deal details.
  • Chasing copy for campaigns with the agency/client and communicate all requirements for the execution of the media portion of the deal.
  • Monitoring campaign performance and liaising with the operations teams to provide any potential optimizations or solutions and feed these back to your sales team.
  • Working closely with the Operations teams to compile post campaign reports with supporting analysis and opportunities for further deals.
  • Assisting in client research to gather information from external sources and regions, as well as assisting in sales pitch planning & help build presentations.
  • Reporting to the Director, and also providing assistance to the VP/AD/AM in account management, service, reporting and strategy.

    Ideally, you'll have 1-2 years' experience working in the advertising industry or in a digital operational role, and you have a passion to take your career further by immersing yourself in planning all forms of advertising media across direct and/or programmatic Streaming and Digital campaigns. You don't need to be proficient in all forms of advertising, but if you have the appetite and drive to learn then you will thrive in this department., MUST have digital experience, ideally programmatic or in a digital planning/ad operations role
  • Knowledge of the advertising and digital planning process for digital video
  • Strong numerical skills and ability to demonstrate use of media maths calculations
  • Knowledge of international markets is an advantage, as is language skills, but not essential
  • Knowledge of programmatic is preferred, but not essential
  • Some exposure to sponsorships/partnerships would be useful, but not essential
  • Proficient in the advanced features of Excel
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Articulate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to problem-solve
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask and work to deadlines
