Full Job Description

Burberry is looking for an experienced Digital Samples Manager (12-month mat cover) to lead the Digital Samples team within the Marketing function. Within this role you will provide strategic direction and guidance, ensure timely content delivery for Burberry.com shoots, manage the budget, and optimise resampling costs to maximise website Content Readiness. Managing a team of 9, the role focuses on efficient transitions between creative and commercial across diverse cross-functional teams.,

  • Manage the Digital Samples workflow for Burberry collections across e-commerce and third-party platforms.
  • Manage the end-to-end Critical Path for all seasonal Digital Samples requirements.
  • Continuous development of the Digital Samples department strategy in order to increase productivity, performance and elevate efficiencies
  • Lead content reporting communication for Burberry.com, capsules, and runway to all stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to mitigate risks.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Strategy, PD, Merchandising, Press, Digital Merchandising, and Styling teams.
  • Drive the development of the in-house shoot management tool, Flo, to enhance team productivity.
  • Ensure correct capture of sample status and manage process changes to maintain content readiness.
  • Lead content for Digital Samples, ensuring initiatives and deadlines align with the Critical Path.
  • Manage runway shoots, delivering imagery for Burberry.com, third-party platforms, and press ahead of deadlines.
  • Oversee strategy development, budget management (resampling, shipping, and Opex), and team coordination across home and office spaces.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control standards and manage sample processes to the highest standards.
  • Lead weekly meetings with the Studio Production Manager to align team workflows and priorities.
  • Create and share weekly and monthly content reports with key stakeholders, Directors, and VP.
  • Support key business initiatives, including Runway, Festive, ad campaigns, gifting, and capsules.
  • Drive team development and ensure alignment with Burberry's business objectives and wider goals.

    Proven experience leading cross-functional teams on innovative projects from launch to completion.
  • Strong team player with a passion for Burberry, its products, and the fashion industry.
  • Professional, with a positive attitude and the ability to build rapport with senior executive management.
  • Skilled in working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and experienced in digital commerce and content delivery.
