Digital Savings Product Owner - 12 month FTC (mat cover) (10378)

Are you a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner with financial services product experience? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team and take on the role of Product Owner for our Digital Savings product. As the Product Owner, you will play a critical role in defining the vision for the product, managing the backlog, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our business.

What you will be doing:

• Understand the Digital Savings business strategy and formulate clear business priorities for the team.


• Become a subject matter expert with deep knowledge of the product and its content.


• Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements, including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.


• Actively participate in solution design thinking to drive innovative and effective solutions.


• Manage the prioritization of the backlog, both in terms of features and technical requirements.


• Analyze business requirements to create clear product backlog items and work with the team to clarify requirements and estimate work effort.


• Maximize the value of the product by managing the product backlog items to completion and continuously reviewing business needs, refining priorities, and identifying opportunities and risks.


• Collaborate with the product manager and partners across the business to co-develop a roadmap and drive products and features from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment.


• Identify ways to improve processes, increase efficiency, and lower costs while meeting business delivery requirements.


• Demonstrate new functionality in release demos and be accountable for showcase reports..
  
  Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in an agile environment.


• Familiarity with issue tracking tools such as Jira or Trello.


• Experience working in the financial services industry with financial services products


• Strong analytical skills and competence in MS Office.


• Ability to build strong partnerships with stakeholders and effectively communicate the commercial value of technology solutions.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to varied stakeholders.


• Strong organizational skills, the ability to perform under pressure, and manage multiple priorities with competing demands for resources.
