Full Job Description

  • First point of contact for the FalconWorks Line of Business for IT Services issues and escalations
  • Leads IT mobilisation, cutover and deployment into FalconWorks Line of Business
  • Understands site, facility and capability IT plans and leads engagement across the FalconWorks environment to enable delivery
  • Leads Service Performance management, performance measures and improvement plans
  • Provide domain knowledge across the broader Digital organisation

    Relevant IT or Business Degree, experience in consultancy or people management position
  • Relevant Service Management qualification eg ITIL
  • Experience of working in an IT Function and relevant field
  • Familiarity with IT trends and good practice
  • Agreeing targets for service compliance and assessing, monitoring, and managing the delivery of services against the targets
  • Developing and operating a measurement capability to support agreed organisational information needs
  • Developing, implementing and testing a business continuity framework
  • Desirable:
  • Relevant project management qualification such as, APM, Prince2

    The FalconWorks Digital Technology Data & Infrastructure (DTD&I) team plays a critical role in the integration and advancement of digital services across the organisation and its expanding network. This team is at the helm of driving digital transformation, ensuring that the diverse entities within FalconWorks and those newly acquired by BAE Systems are seamlessly integrated and empowered by state-of-the-art digital technologies. By working collaboratively with the FalconWorks Entities and the Air sector, you will have the opportunity to be autonomous and shape the way in which this role supports the business in a fast-paced and growing environment
