Full Job Description

The role of the Digital Styling Optimisation Assistant Manager is to oversee and optimise the attribution of products and the production of inspiring outfits. This person is an expert in the mechanics of how we build and attribute accurately and effectively. Both are critical to how we power features developed by the Personal Discovery team and more broadly the development of personalised experiences for M&S users.,

  • SME In the mechanics of building and maintaining quality outfits
  • Drives outfitting and attribution strategy
  • Owns outfit range planning and critical path development
  • Owns and manages PD's system for attribution
  • Drives quality and accuracy across attribution to improve personalisation
  • Identifies opportunities to improve processes and productivity
  • Accountable for reporting on key metrics and forecasting across styling activity
  • Is a product thought partner, operating as a squad member
  • Responsible for communicating technical errors and bugs effectively
  • Drives optimisation of processes and tooling via squad escalation and sprint prioritisation
  • Contributes to the delivery of PDs in-year plan and OKRs

  • Strong understanding of data and how to track and report on key metrics
  • Ability to produce accurate forecast models
  • Can navigate data analytics software such as Power BI with ease
  • Motivation and passion for driving change and improvements
  • Experience escalating technical issues and bugs clearly and effectively
  • Project management skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of fashion and defining style details
  • Excellent product knowledge regarding materials, sustainability, fits, item features and detailing
  • A clear communicator who strives for extreme clarity and accuracy in all areas of their work
