Full Job Description
- Preparing USB sticks with course specific software packages.
- Emailing students with software links, software keys and activation instructions if necessary.
- Upgrading RAM / HDD's / SSD's if required.
- Rebuilding laptops if required.
- Dealing with inbound and outbound calls, as necessary.
- QA check of the full build before submitting order to the dispatch team.
- Working to department KPI's
- Writing Scripts for silent installation of software where needed
- Software build/imaging of customer equipment following predefined scripts.
- Picking and packing orders, to ensure they are processed and dispatched quickly and efficiently.
- Supporting and Logging and resolving technical issues within the in-house call logging system and subsequent queue management.
- Diagnosing and repairing software issues inhouse by remote connection.
- Hardware upgrades.
- Laptop diagnostics and repairs of both Windows and Mac systems.
- Sourcing parts from the most efficient and cost-effective source.
- QA check of all repaired equipment before returning to student. Counter check of other technician's repairs.
- Creating and maintaining customer records.
