Full Job Description

Are you looking for a challenging role that will help to contribute to public services in Bury. This role sits within the Digital Data and Technology (DDaT) section of Bury Council. It is a key liaison point between technologists and senior stakeholders to drive business thinking on how to achieve technological advantage.

The ideal candidate will have skills in business analysis and project management. The role will be expected to matrix manage Business Analysts, Service Designers, IT Project Managers and Project Officers on specific projects.

You will need to bring energy and enthusiasm to creating and proactively leading change initiatives in a complex environment at pace. You will work with senior stakeholders assisting them with their strategic planning to transform their services with a focus on cost reduction and improvements in customer satisfaction.

Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week. You will be based at Bury Town Hall on site for 2 days a week or where projects require.
