Digital Trading Underwriter (Part-time, Job-share, Full-time)

We are seeking an experienced underwriter to join our Digital Trading team. In this role, you will focus on onboarding new clients and supporting existing clients, with mid-term changes and renewals. You will leverage your expertise to assess risks, determine appropriate coverage, and ensure our clients receive the best possible customer service.,

• Put good customer outcomes at the heart of every decision.
• Help your team hit customer satisfaction targets for all prospective, new and existing customers.
• Help your team achieve key growth and retention targets.
• Take ownership of customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Analyse and interpret underwriting data to make informed decisions.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Provide underwriting support and guidance to less experienced colleagues.
  
  Excellent customer service skills
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proven experience in underwriting, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Proactive with the ability to work to deadlines and process timeframes., Experience in underwriting, with a solid understanding of risk assessment and insurance principles.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Certificate in Insurance, Diploma in Insurance) are highly desirable.
• Experience using Acturis desirable.
• Experience and confidence using Microsoft outlook and excel required.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products.
