Director - AWS Technology Advisory

Our Cloud Transformation Advisory Services enables our clients to transform their business and unlock the value of cloud. We provide value-centric cloud advisory services with sector-specific expertise. Our deep skills in cloud strategy, orchestration, operating models, and cloud economics complimented by global resources help guide clients in their cloud journey and deliver business results. Our cloud advisory capability is part of the wider Enterprise Transformation capability and works closely with other Invent capabilities. In this role you will play a key role in:

• Building trusted client relationships both existing and new
• Demonstrate sector and sub sector experience and knowledge
• Be active and effective in both selling and delivering solutions to address our client's business needs
• Support the financial growth of the sector
• Support the growth and expansion of our team and community.
As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:
• Business Development - Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
• Internal contribution - Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
• Learning & development - Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.
  
  Experience in cloud strategy and implementation for large and mid-size organisations on AWS
• Broad knowledge across all areas of AWS including Security, Data & AI
• Experience in developing cloud adoption strategy and roadmaps for clients on AWS with understanding of AWS CAF
• Experience in proactively selling the business value of AWS to client executives.
• Experience in developing thought leadership, go to market offerings and innovation business solutions that help clients to realise value from AWS.
• Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
• Experience of proposition building and delivery.
• Business development - utilising a combination of the organisation's broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you'll be generating c .£2m of consulting revenues (Director) /c.4m of consulting revenues (Vice President).
