Full Job Description

As the Director of Business, Planning and Analysis you'll influence, lead and manage the creation of the Regions Business Plans and deliver analysis into key business areas, providing insight and advice to the executive team. Your expertise will be required to motivate and direct the business review activities and team.

About the role (External)

1. Overall accountability for the Region’s business wide planning process including participating in setting business strategy, development of action plans, monitoring of progress and identification of corrective actions. Responsible for the creation and updating of the Region Business Plans and Delivery Plans.

2. Provide vision, direction and leadership to the team and the wider business community on business planning, analysis, insight, governance and strategic decision making.

3. Provide direction on the region’s business plans and annual budgets and setting region targets aligned to corporate targets.

4. Overall accountability for provision of timely analytical information and support to all functions within the region, , to enable effective decision making and drive business improvement.

5. Overall accountability for developing financial and business performance KPIs for the region, reporting performance against KPIs and facilitate improvement activities.

6. Prepare all information for the periodic business performance reviews and lead the executive performance review meetings, highlighting areas of focus.

7. Set the strategic direction of the region and the wider business as part of the Region Leadership Team.

· Excellent business planning and analytical skills

· Strong Communication and Influencing skills

· Strategic Thinker

· Experienced People Manager

· Substantial experience of working in a matrix management organisation

· Substantial post-qualification experience

· Experience advising and working in conjunction with senior staff at Director and Board level.

· Degree in a related discipline
