About the Team The Director of Cloud Economists - EMEA will be a key member of the Cloud Economists team at Nutanix, a dynamic group dedicated to maximizing the financial value delivered to our customers through innovative cloud solutions. This team operates across the EMEA region. The culture within the team emphasizes collaboration, strategic thinking, and continuous learning, all aimed at achieving the mission of helping our clients understand and realize the financial benefits of transitioning to cloud infrastructure. You will report to the Senior Managing Director | WW Cloud Economists, who believes in fostering an inclusive environment that encourages open communication and empowers team members to share their ideas. The manager's leadership style is focused on mentorship and development, ensuring that each team member is equipped to succeed while aligning individual goals with the overarching objectives of the team. This role is fully remote, offering flexibility without the need for in-office attendance, allowing you to work from a location that best suits your needs. This position requires travel of approximately 20-40%, providing opportunities to engage with clients and teams across different EMEA markets. Travel plans will be essential for building strong relationships and driving strategic initiatives, so candidates should be prepared for occasional trips to support our operational goals and client engagements. Your Role

  • Lead and manage a team of cloud economists, providing direction and support.
  • Develop and implement strategies for financial selling and business value presentations.
  • Conduct performance assessments, providing feedback and fostering team development.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders to integrate cloud economics into client engagements.
  • Oversee preparation and presentation of case studies to demonstrate financial value.
  • Monitor industry trends to refine team strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including RevOps and sales teams.
  • Set and achieve objectives for team integration into existing customer accounts and improve overall team morale and performance.

    10-20 years of relevant experience in leadership roles, particularly in financial selling and cloud economics.
  • Proven team leadership and management skills, with a focus on motivating and guiding teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with sales and RevOps teams.
  • Strategic thinking and long-term planning capabilities to drive team and business outcomes.
  • Experience in applying financial values to create business outcomes and managing diverse performance scenarios.
  • Ability to conduct engaging business value presentations and case studies to clients.
  • Adaptability to navigate employment laws in various EMEA countries and experience managing remote teams.
  • Advanced understanding of cloud economics and market trends in the technology sector.
