Delivering 'best in class' commercial finance and procurement strategies that maintain our strong financial performance while staying agile enough to support swift decision-making-this is the challenge we're setting our new Director of Commercial Finance. As a key member of our Directors Group, you'll lead critical functions across our Finance Business Partnering, Financial Operations, and Commercial Procurement teams. Operating within a fast-paced and commercially focused organisation, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our ambitious strategic plan forward. Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:

  • The strategic leadership of our Commercial Finance function and its people, ensuring that talent and processes are optimised to support our organisation to deliver brilliant services to our tenants.
  • Developing and implementing strategic financial frameworks, ensuring robust budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring to guide Executive and Board-level decisions.
  • Establishing accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting structures that meet the needs of stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • Leading and evolving our Commercial Procurement team, creating a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, efficiency, and excellence.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities through insightful analysis to support our organisation's goals.

Significant experience in commercial finance, with a proven track record of strategic financial leadership within a complex organisation.
  • A professional accountancy qualification and a deep understanding of financial regulations and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data to provide actionable insights.
  • Exceptional leadership qualities, inspiring and empowering your team to deliver excellence while optimising internal talent and external expertise.
  • As a smart working organisation, you can expect a balance of working from the office and from home. Typically, you'll be working from the office 3 days per week and 2 days per week from home.
