We're now seeking an exceptional Director of Digital and AI who shares our ambition.

Over the past 18 months, we've worked hard to align our mental health, community and learning disability services across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to improve access to care, reduce duplication and resolve unnecessary differences in practice and outcomes. We have an exciting future ahead and we believe digital is a cornerstone of that journey. There has been a monumental shift in the way we deliver our services, with technology playing an increasingly pivotal role, and we want to ensure we're at the forefront of digital capability, empowered by a culture that champions system and infrastructure transformation., The Director of Digital and AI is the most senior Digital leadership role in our new organisation reporting to the Chief of Strategy & Transformation. You will work as part of a new triumvirate including the Chief Clinical Information Officer and Chief Nursing Information Officer and a key part of this role will include leading the harmonisation of three legacy organisations with a strong focus on creating a single cohesive team. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be required to be highly visible and build strong links both internally and externally supporting clinical and operational colleagues to deliver high quality health and care to the population of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. You will expertly navigate the digital landscape and offer clear direction to maximize the contribution of technology and business intelligence.

We are looking for an ambitious, innovative and compassionate leader who can bring diversity of thought and experience to our ambitious organization. You will empower colleagues to deliver to the best of their abilities and hold others accountable in our pursuit of being an inclusive, outstanding organization.

We are committed to ensuring that we embrace and celebrate diversity as we strive to tackle inequalities both within the workforce and in our local communities. In recruiting to our Trust, we are committed to equality of opportunity for all, and we both encourage and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is a newly established organisation, bringing together expertise from across mental health, learning disabilities, community, and physical health services. By working together, we aim to improve patient outcomes, drive innovation, and meet the unique needs of the populations we serve.

Our Trust unites services from Southern Health, Solent NHS Trust, Isle of Wight NHS Trusts community and mental health teams, as well as Hampshire CAMHS, originally part of Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This transformation enables us to deliver more seamless care across the region, ensuring that patients receive the right support, in the right place, at the right time.

Join us as we embark on this exciting journey to shape the future of healthcare across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. We are deeply committed to our CARE values of compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence, and offer outstanding opportunities for career development, training, and collaborative working.
