Full Job Description
The Director of Digital, Data and Technology will lead the ongoing development and delivery of the long-term Digital and Data Strategy for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB, delivering system-wide transformation to the benefit of patients and residents in line with the four aims to:
· Improve outcomes in population health and healthcare.
· Tackle inequalities in outcomes, experience and access
· Enhance productivity and value for money.
· Support broader social and economic development.
The Director of Digital, Data and Technology reports directly to the ICB Chief Strategy Officer. As an advisor to the ICB Board, they are responsible for planning and allocating resources to meet the core purpose and ambitions of the ICS. They will also drive the ICB's progress towards meeting the What Good Looks Like framework, and meeting local and national Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) targets.
A priority for the role will be ensuring that partners and citizens are listened to, involved in, and drive digital transformation across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight., The post will ensure that the ICB and ICS are able to make decisions based on accurate and timely data and insight, working with partners to make best use of analytical resources and ensuring best practice is applied. This post will work to transform public access to information tools and services alongside ensuring that the benefits of information and technology investments are realised and supported across Hampshire and Isle of Wight.
The Director of Digital, Data and Technology will help drive progress towards meeting key national objectives and be a digital and data evangelist, championing the use of digital technology and practices to engender a digital mindset that drives benefits for patient care and system productivity and efficiency.
The postholder will provide leadership to drive the professionalisation and development of the digital, data, technology, and informatics workforce across the
ICS, through strong links with partner CIOs across health, local authority, NHS England and other key stakeholders.
