Full Job Description
Our education services are central to ensuring children and young people have the best opportunity to thrive in supportive, well run and safe settings that can meet the needs of every child. We have a large number of schools within the county, and we need a leader who can work across organisational boundaries and structures, who will further develop our positive working relationship with schools, offering effective supportive services and continue to lead strategic change across the whole estate. We are proud of our delivery record, however we are also clear on the issues that need addressing and we need a strong leader to progress the journey of transformation to improve our education services. We are developing an ambitious SEND and inclusion strategy that aims to support all children and young people across a wide range of needs in addition to a demonstrable special educational needs and disability impact plan.
