Here at Derian House Children's Hospice, we have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Human Resources to join our team based in Chorley. You will join us on either a full time (37.5 hours) or part time (30 hours) permanent basis.
Derian House Children's Hospice is proud to have been providing high-quality care to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions for the last 30 years.
The Derian House care team provides symptom management, palliative and end-of-life care, as well as short break respite care to children, young people and their families across Lancashire, South Cumbria and Greater Manchester. Supported by our dedicated community team, family support team, neonatal services and young people's services we are able to provide a wide range of support and care in a variety of settings., As our Director of Human Resources, you will be based at our Hospice in Chorley. The successful candidate will report to the CEO and be part of the Senior Leadership Team. You will oversee all aspects of HR including strategic HR leadership, HR processes, organisational development, employee relations and talent acquisition. You will also be responsible for our Admin team as well as our Volunteers.

Derian House Children's Hospice
At Derian House we help children and young people, whose lives are too short, to make happy memories in an environment of fun, respect and above all, high quality care.
We provide respite and end-of-life care to more than 400 children and young people across the North West. We do this 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We never close to those who need us.
Our ethos is to make sure that every child and young person who comes to Derian is able to make the very most of the time they have.
