Full Job Description

Location: Trust wide with a base in Co-op Headquarters, Angel Square, Manchester

Reports to: Director of Behaviour and Attendance

Contract: Permanent

Start date: January 2025

Salary: Leadership scale L14 - L19 with Co-op benefits

In this role, you will become a member of the Trust's Director team and will be line managed by the Director of Behaviour and Attendance working closely with Headteachers, Executive Headteachers and Regional Directors to ensure a strong and robust student support network, with a sole focus on Internal Alternative School Provision (IASP) in each of our secondary schools.

We have the ambition that by the end of academic year 2025-26 all our secondary schools will be achieving the standards and culture set out in the Trust's Standard Operating Procedure: Developing and Establishing an Internal Alternative School Provision.

We want to sustain and improve all standards within our IASP in all our secondary schools developing a sense of belonging for all our students with a high level of support to ensure we have a successful inclusion framework within this area. You will lead, work, support and challenge our schools to improve their IASP provision so desired student outcomes are achieved. We are working in partnership with a charity external organisation called Impetus who not only help fund our Trust school support for IASP but provide input, networks and opportunities to ensure we achieve the standards we wish to reach within this area. You will work closely with Impetus to achieve our shared goals on IASP.
