Full Job Description

To lead and manage services operationally within the health division.The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of services, ensuring that they are safe, sustainable and of good quality. In addition, this will include operating within the agreed financial envelope and achievement of key quality and performance indicators.

Operate as part of the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board ensuring the ongoing development of services at neighbourhood, place and system to promote collaborative partnerships that are consistently delivered to improve patient outcomes. This post holderwill contribute to the wider sustainability and transformation plans relating to Mid and South Essex Community Collaborative throughthe contractual joint venture with NELFT andEPUT.

Ensuring that designated service meets all safety, quality and clinical governance requirements, and maintains the highest standards of professionalism

Balancing the need to provide the best care for the individual patient with resource constraints. Action to improve their services

Day-todaymanagementofresourceswithindesignatedservice.

To leadtheir serviceteam, inaccordance withProvidecompetenciesand values, in such a way as to increase engagement, collaboration and productivity, whilst minimising disputes and unhelpful conflict

Ensure services are at all times appropriately resourced to deliver the standard of care stipulated in supply agreements. In particular, to ensure that the service has sufficient staff of the right quality, they are properly trained/coached/mentored, performance is positively managed, and capability or conduct issues are properly addressed

Manage services within agreed operational budgets, contributing to the identification of resource requirements and ensuring that spending is controlled appropriately and spending targets met, · Sharing, with fellow senior managers, responsibility for supporting the overall strategic development, quality and performance of Provide CIC and associated group organisations, joint ventures and alliance agreements, including participating fully and actively in debates and discussions that promote the sustainability of the organisations.

· With the Board and other senior managers, identifying new business opportunities and developing innovative products and services to meet the needs of service users, commissioners and other stakeholders.

· Ensuringthealignmentofprioritiesanddelivery ofkeyperformanceobjectivesacrossthe Provide Group, joint ventures and alliance agreements Articles of Association, Standing Orders, Standing Financial Instructions, the scheme of delegated authority and relevant employment legislation.

· Working collaboratively with Executive Directors, Directors and Assistant Directors to model visible and inspiring leadership for staff, setting and delivering high standardsof performance and behaviour, ensuring effective communications and engagement, and gaining staff commitment to move from strategy to action and the delivery of results.

· Adhering to the standards and behaviours of Professional Codes of Conduct and at all times acting in a manner that reflects and promotes the values of Provide CIC.

· Using your specialist knowledge and experience of own function and health and social care generally to assist colleagues and the Boards of Provide CIC and associated group organisations, joint ventures and alliance agreements to consider strategic issues and to make appropriate decisions.
