Director of People - Athena Learning Trust

As we grow our trust, we want to continue our journey towards world class education through a clear and innovative people strategy. As Director of People you will lead our people team with a focus on shaping and developing our people functions through effective and aspirational strategic planning, driving continuous improvement across employee relations, talent management and employee wellbeing.

Success in this role will be ensuring you stay focussed on the bigger picture, deliver results under pressure and prioritise moving towards best practice. You will have the ability to drive improvement and results through a clear strategic plan, inspiring teams to push the boundaries and strive for world class. You will be highly motivated to achieve excellence and develop a culture of continuous improvement.

You will join the team at a key developmental phase as they transition from 'forming' to 'norming' and it will be your role to transition them through the next stage. You must demonstrate enthusiasm, experience and a thirst for learning that embodies our motto 'always learning together' and supports achieving our vision.

This role will be integral in defining and driving the direction of our people team and people initiatives. You will be passionate about wellbeing and delivering world class people processes.
