Full Job Description

This is a replacement role that will be responsible for leading the entire Great Ormond Street Hospital Procurement agenda, working with Board, Executive and Senior Leadership teams to ensure that it operates within public sector policy, the NHS legal framework and the new Procurement Act 2023 to successfully achieve its objectives.This shall include the delivery of demonstrable and incremental cash releasing savings, which will form part of the cost improvement/'Better Value' plans of the Trust and clinical and corporate directorates.

Candidates should demonstrate a depth of leadership and transformation in Procurement, Purchasing, Legal, Supply Chain, Digital and Transformation environments. They will bring experience in advanced negotiation with a thorough understanding of the rules that govern EU Public Procurement., Diversity Champion.We have active and Executive supported BAME, LGBT+ and Allies, Disability and Long-Term Health Conditions and Women's staff networks.
