Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work in an innovative Trust and be at the forefront of mental health and community innovation. The post holder will be accountable to the Chief Nursing Officer and will be responsible for leading on the development and implementation of Trust-wide professional and quality work programmes, ensuring that the Social Work contribution is recognised, rewarded and optimised.

This role will provide:

· Strategic leadership to develop the Social Work professions across the Trust's services and will ensure the provision of a high quality Social Work service;

· Professional leadership to Lead Social Workers within the Trust and provide expert advice and guidance on all professional Social Work issues to the Trust as a whole.

If required, the post holder will act as Deputy for the Chief Nursing Officer on matters related to Social Work across a range of duties within the organisation as agreed and when required.
