Full Job Description

The Director of Quality, Performance and Safeguarding is a new role in our leadership team, responsible for leading the development of our self-assessment and assurance activity that delivers a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation and wider market. You will implement clear performance management, compliance and audit functions that will be an underlying part of our delivery model, and will inform the development of our wider strategy across adult social care and health. We have recently received a 'Good' CQC assessment, one of the first in the country, however, we are eager to achieve more, responding to the changing demands of our county population.
This is an opportunity to make a real difference to the residents of Derbyshire, and we are seeking someone with the drive and enthusiasm to lead change, working in an amazing county. We are seeking someone who will develop a culture of continuous improvement in an organisation focused on learning and growth, empowering teams and individuals to develop the best solutions for our residents. You will bring experience of working across an organisation, partners and with the wider market, developing strong performance management, compliance and quality assurance functions. In addition, you will bring knowledge of leading safeguarding functions across a whole system to ensure that the most vulnerable are protected from harm.
