Location for this role is flexible. Most of our team is based in Woking, we can also consider home working with travel for team meetings. We have flexible working opportunities, including part time roles, to ensure a balance of family and working life. Our Technical Advisory team is made up of highly experienced, industry professionals covering multi-disciplines of Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics, Petroleum and reservoir engineering, costs engineering, facilities and economics with unparalleled knowledge of annual reserves and competent person reporting, due diligence, Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage (CCUS), equity redetermination and upstream assets interpretation and evaluation. We are dedicated to advancing energy solutions and ensuring the responsible use of resources. Your Role:

  • Providing strategic leadership to our team, including technical direction and commercial guidance and advice.
  • Responsibility for the profit and loss for the technical advisory group
  • Grow our business by fostering excellent relationships with existing clients in current areas and supporting expansion into new markets particularly underground storage, geothermal, etc
  • Mentor and develop a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Willing and able to resolve complex project issues as required
  • Champion and promotes best practice and industry knowledge
  • Represent the company in technical forums, industry conferences, and stakeholder meetings
  • Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns

    Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology or related field,
  • Chartered Engineer or Geologist
  • Highly experienced business leader in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on subsurface reserve audits, CCUS, and upstream asset management.
  • Ideally experience with an Operator and/or service company.
  • A well-respected trusted advisor to clients within the industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed

  • Offshore and Land Seismic survey operations including project management, and technical software and Seismic data processing. Supply of technical client representatives
  • Operational and Wellsite geological services and drilling support
  • Marine assurance and Quality Health Safety Security & Environment (QHSSE)
  • Marine protected species observation
  • Geoscience consulting including project management, geological desk studies, ground modelling, geohazard assessments
