Full Job Description

The Director Resources Senior Leadership Team (SLT) Personal Assistant will work as part of a team to provide the Senior Civil Servants (SCS1/2), Head of Commercial, Head of Finance, and the Director of Resources at HQ Air Command with effective Outer Office support, enabling them to deliver cohesive high-quality management and leadership in support of the delivery of Air Command's outputs.
This role is within a fast paced environment, you will need to be able to adapt, think quickly and prioritise your work. All activity will require a great deal of confidentiality and discretion. The role requires a relationship of trust with and support to the principal.
This role is suitable for hybrid working. Job holders may work from home or another MOD site, with regular attendance at High Wycombe as required based on individual, team and business needs.

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week., You will be responsible for the following (this list is not limited):
+ Diary Management for 2 x SCS 1 and when necessary, an SCS 2.
+ Travel, Information and general day to day support of the principals.
+ Issuing correspondence internally and externally and preparing briefing material.
+ Cascading information to the business area’s.
+ Generating good working relationships with the other Outer Offices within Air Command and liaising with them as required.
+ Supporting the senior leadership teams during meetings and ensuring a smooth flow of information across the area of responsibility.
+ Have good working relationships with the Business areas within the Direct Resources area of responsibility.

Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working. This is a non-contractual arrangement where all office-based employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in office, subject to capacity and any required workplace adjustments.
