Full Job Description

The Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa (EMEAA) regional team is responsible for the strategy, management, growth and profitability of IHG's most diverse region, and performance of a portfolio of hotels in some of the world's most exciting destinations in both mature and emerging markets. The region operates more than 1,000 open hotels through three Business Units: Europe (EUR), India, Middle East & Africa (IMEA) and East Asia & Pacific (EAPAC). Your day to day The role will formulate and drive strategies for maximizing revenue management opportunities in the UK&I region. Strategy includes maximizing revenues, talent development and alignment with brand strategies, sales strategies, and distribution marketing strategies, as well as promoting a revenue management culture throughout the UK&I hotels under their remit.

  • Formulate revenue management and pricing strategies for UK&I hotels. Execute strategies by directing pricing and inventory management practices, measurement and analysis. Increase knowledge and support hotels to maximize revenues by using all available sales & marketing and distribution options.
  • Pricing Strategy - Drive direction and insight into next generation of pricing strategy. Define and implement Europe wide pricing strategy at hotel, cluster, country and regional level, which delivers the optimum mix of price and volume at each property.
  • Relationship Management - Build strong relationships with the commercial department heads & VPs Commercial to bring Sales, marketing and Revenue Management cohesiveness across the estate. Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with our franchisees to help imbed revenue Management practice at all hotels. Maintain strong relationships with global Revenue Management to ensure best practice is shared across IHG.
  • People Development - Recruit and develop the Revenue management team. Provide coaching and career development guidance.
