Director, Strategic Engagement - Aon Inpoint Aon is recruiting for a Director to join Aon's Strategic engagement team in Inpoint (London, UK). This role can either be a hybrid or office based role. We are looking for a Director who will be excited about joining a successful distributed team where you will have the opportunity to own and lead the team both internally within the team but also by leading on key strategic client engagements.   • Leading and supporting the engagement with insurers and reinsurers as the central point of contact, supporting, coaching and mentoring colleagues in the broader strategic engagement team
  • Using your experience, market research skills and business insight to ensure that business unit leaders are always ahead of trends across the Insurance Market Generating new revenue opportunities from new and existing clients
  • Leading key global partners including the regional and local Heads of Broking and Business unit leadership teams to develop effective communication plans which ensure that the Aon Inpoint Strategic Engagement strategy is consistently understood and articulated both internally and externally
  • Developing a deep and qualified understanding of business strategy, underwriting appetite and capabilities
  • Developing a significant and senior level internal and external network to build connections between Aon's market practitioners and key industry figures.
  • Contributing to a high-performance and inclusive culture, promoting a collaborative environment with clients and colleagues.
  • Structure and plan initiatives and identify and secure required resources.
  • Be responsible for and deliver multiple strategic initiatives within agreed timeframes and to budget.
  • Take responsibility for building and managing core business functions and capabilities.

  • Participating in industry events and conferences to build up an broad professional network, maintain and understanding and represent the Company.
  • Challenging the status quo and internal processes to find opportunities to work more efficiently.
  • Identifying gaps in the market, trends and opportunities and work with Carriers to develop new products
  • Serving as the project or account manager for the account team, implements action plans, monitors progress, assures service meets or goes above and beyond
  • Strategy formulation: Facilitating collaborative process, ensuring well-articulated and prioritised roadmap and set of medium and long-term goals
  • Working with the team on ensuing account management tasks including: requests and gathering of information from carriers and colleagues, participating on projects, liaising between internal professionals and organizing meeting logistics to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Self-reliance - self-starter, thinks around problems, creative and resourceful, able to prioritise and work under pressure
