Full Job Description

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, organised and, working closely with the PO Governance & Policy Support and the Designated Complaints Officer, support the Directorate's iProc system; will also assist with the timely & appropriate discharge of the Directorate's complaints responsibilities; and assist with facilities management and accommodation requirements across the Directorate. You will also be required to support colleagues within the Directorate's Welfare Rights Unit. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of Social Services, Health & Housing service objectives. The main duties of the post :

  • To support the P.O. Governance & Policy Support in the timely and appropriate discharge of the Directorate's statutory responsibilities in relation to the General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018;
  • Provide administrative support to Access to Records / Subject Access requests and Freedom of Information communication received by the Directorate, ensuring statutory responsibilities are monitored;
  • To work with the Directorate Support Officer to fully utilise the Authority's iprocurement system to support changes to front-line services and realise efficiency savings across staffing structures and budgets;
  • To support the P.O. Governance & Policy Support in the timely and appropriate discharge of the Directorate's statutory complaints role and responsibilities ;
  • You will have experience in / of : An understanding of service objectives of the Social Services, Health & Housing Directorate Ideally you will have : 4 GCSE's (A-C), 2 of which must include English, Welsh or Maths or an equivalent qualification.
