Dispenser

The post-holder will project a positive and friendly image to dispensary patients and other visitors and deal with queries in a professional, courteous and efficient way across both Weobley & Staunton on Wye Surgeries. To process all relevant prescriptions as authorised by GPs and prescribing nurses, where appropriate, in accordance with the principles of good practice, dispensing and sale of prescriptions and medicines/appliances and assist with stock control, ordering and re-stocking of the dispensary

• Thursday 8am - 6pm
• Friday 8.30am - 6.30pm
The Weobley and Staunton on Wye Practice is a rural dispensing GP Surgery, split across two locations with approximately 6,500 patients. Due to re-organisation, we are looking for a qualified Dispenser who will project a positive and friendly image to patients and who is professional, efficient and enthusiastic with a flexible approach to fill this permanent position. On the job training will be provided if required. It is important to note that the successful candidate will also be required to undertake sickness and holiday cover in addition to their contracted hours as part of the Dispensary rota.
