Full Job Description

  • Liaising with colleagues from across the business, in particular with the Customer Services teams, to gather information to assist in the defence of claims brought against the business


  • Managing our legal case tracker and corresponding with the courts


  • Carrying out legal research


  • Liaising with our finance teams to ensure legal payments are made within necessary deadlines


  • Assisting our international litigation team when necessary (including managing the administration of customer claims in Spain and liaising with external legal counsel)


  • Assisting our Property team where necessary with process driven tasks (including filing SDLT applications for our retail estate)


  • Assisting the wider legal team where necessary (i.e. the Commercial, Corporate and Regulatory teams)

    We are committed to responsible gambling, and we are looking for people who can support our ethos. To apply to this post, you will have:


  • A law degree (or equivalent) with previous paralegal experience


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with good attention to detail and excellent organisational skills


  • A can-do attitude and a proactive nature with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines


  • A willingness to learn and develop your legal career. Spanish language skills are desirable too.
