Full Job Description

This is an exciting newly-created role that will act as owner and operational lead for an ambitious multi-year plan for DEI for the organisation - putting systems and structures in place to enable NCB to embed DEI throughout our operational and strategic activities.

Although the role will take strategic leadership of our DEI work overall, it will be particularly focussed on our external impact. Ensuring that we are seizing all opportunities across our work to advance equity for children and families in the UK - and creating more such opportunities through networking, innovative thinking and support for staff.

The role will also link with the HR team around improving internal diversity and staff inclusion, including providing expert advice on training and development for staff and other opportunities such as guest speakers.

Location: London (London Fields), Devon, Sheffield, or remote. NCB promotes a hybrid and flexible way of working. Staff can work remotely for part of the week if they wish, and in the office or face to face for 2 days per week. Hybrid working from Devon, Sheffield or Home based within UK would be considered.
Status: Permanent, 35 hours per week. Could potentially be open to 28 hours (4 days per week)
Salary: (Band 6) £49,448 (National weighting) £53,457 (London weighting) with generous benefits package including 30 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, and 3 days of Christmas closure
