Full Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity, as we are looking for a highly experienced and inspirational Nurse leader to join as a Divisional Director of Nursing for a 12-month fixed term (or secondment for internal applicants).
Leading a positive and inclusive culture will be one of your top priorities, ensuring that our patients are at the heart of everything we do. The post holder will be professionally responsible for the Nursing and Allied Health professional workforce across the Family and Specialist Services division. The specialities include; Bath Chronic Fatigue Services, Breast, Gynaecology, Haematology & Oncology, Paediatrics, Paediatric Fatigue Services, Pharmacy and Sexual Health.
Main duties of the job
You will have a track record of empowering and motivating multidisciplinary teams and working across the organisation to deliver high-quality care, service innovation and improved clinical pathways.
You will be responsible for leading and operationalising the significant investment in Nurse inpatient safer-staffing, introducing new roles and ways of working as part of an outpatient workforce review, the roll-out of the patient safety incident response framework, co-producing with patients and staff to improve our current CQC rating of good, utilising our 'improving together' QI methodology.
You will have the opportunity to lead and represent the Trust in portfolios of clinical governance, Nursing workforce, patient experience, and clinical and professional standards across the BSW ICB.
