Full Job Description

  • To be part of the Senior Leadership Team within Acute and Urgent Care Division and holding the lead voice for psychological therapies within that division.
  • Provide professional leadership for all Psychological Therapists working within Adult Acute and Urgent Care Services.
  • To be responsible in collaboration with the Divisional Directors and Clinical Director for Psychological Services and other senior leadership within the Trust for the provision and development of psychological services within Acute & Urgent Adult Care services, ensuring the delivery of high quality psychological and psychologically informed services across the entire service of Adult Acute and Urgent Care services.
  • To provide particular professional leadership, senior clinical leadership and governance for psychological therapies across the Division that have Adult Acute and Urgent Care services.
  • To hold a specialist caseload and offer expert consultation of specific cases.
  • To be responsible for service development and policy development within Psychological Services across Adult Acute and Urgent Care services in HPFT.
