We have an opportunity to join our Operational Team to work as part of the Surgery, Women and Children Division.
You will be part of a team of operational managers leading a portfolio of services focusing on the strategic development, elective recovery and the quality for these services. In addition to leading these services you will have the opportunity to develop your own professional career with the support of both formal coaching and professional qualification opportunities., Through collaboration with the speciality triumvirates coordinate and deliver high quality clinical services.
- Be responsible for the delivery of effective operational performance quality standards and targets in both elective and urgent and emergency care patient pathways in line with the NHSE recovery plans and local objectives; this includes the responsibility for the planning and delivery of financial targets for each of the delegated areas of responsibility.
- Leading the continuous development of a strategic service development plan in each of the areas of responsibility, linking in with Trust and System partners for their realisation.
- Line management responsibilities which include responsibility for the development of team members.
- Participation in the Hospital Silver On-call rota.

The James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust serves a population of around 250,000 people in the Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Waveney areas. The Trust provides an integrated hospital and community children's service.
