Full Job Description
This is a permanent role within our northern scheduling team based out of the Trowbridge WRC offices. This will be a perfect opportunity to expand your skills, learn about a new area of the business and turn your hand to something new. What you'll do You will be responsible for providing scheduling for Wessex Water operational teams across multiple workstreams. When scheduling, key responsibilities will include maximising the efficient use of operational staff's time by creating schedules which will reduce mileage and fuel expenditure. You will be liaising with Wessex Water operational staff across multiple disciplines to help reduce overdue work. You will be required to raise work requests to be carried out and prioritised as well as scheduling planned maintenance. In addition, you may also be required to provide regular updates to our customers ensuring our performance commitments are met. The role will require the candidate to engage with multiple IT systems inclusive of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Dynamics 365 and Teams) as well as internal software. This role is 8 hours per week on a Friday, however due to the reactive nature of the work, some flexibility with working hours may be required. Our core hour scheduling team operate between the hours of 7am to 5pm; however, we also provide out-of-hours cover and therefore overtime opportunities may be available.
