Beacon Primary Care is an innovative practice based across West Lancashire. We are looking for a domestic to join our busy team at our Railway Road surgery. The successful candidate will be highly motivated with the skills to undertake a variety of tasks to assist in the smooth running of the practice., Our domestic staff are important members of the team and ensure the smooth running of the surgery.The duties and responsibilities to be undertaken may include any or all of the items in the following list. Duties may be varied from time to time under the direction of the Senior Receptionist/ Deputy Practice Manager

Undertake cleaning tasks and other associated tasks in line with the surgery cleaning protocols and specific daily work schedules, to achieve and maintain standards of cleanliness across the organisation.

The duties and responsibilities to be undertaken by the domestic assistant may include any or all of the items in the following list. Duties may be varied from time to time dependent on current and evolving practice workload and staffing levels

You are required to attend statutory training as required to fulfil your duties.

Knowledge of specific cleaning procedures and standards, including cleaning materials, cleaning frequencies, cleaning tasks, cleaning equipment, COSHH and Health and Safety to ensure that the operating of associated cleaning equipment (e.g. buffing machine, vacuum cleaner etc) and the use of cleaning materials and other associated tasks which may be a hazard to oneself or others are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with Training Protocols, Health and Safety, Control of Infection and COSHH Risk Assessments.
