Full Job Description

The Network Administrator post involves providing research dissemination and admin support for DARNet Lead, Dr Olumide Adisa on the Domestic Abuse Research Network (DARNet) and implementing DARNet's strategic priorities. The Network Admin will work under the supervision of Dr Olumide Adisa and work closely with other members of the ISJ&C and colleagues across the University.

The post holder should be a self-starter, creative, and have the flexibility to work within diverse teams while demonstrating strong communication skills, people and time management skills and the ability to work with limited supervision. The post holder will be expected to have a commitment and a desire to enhance their own research and community engagement skills and abilities via self-professional development and appropriate training.

The Domestic Abuse Research Network (DARNet) was formed in 2019. DARNet was created to foster and support knowledge exchange events and enable practitioners and academics to connect with current issues and research on domestic abuse. It is now represented by over 20 Universities with over 300 members and counting.

DARNet's primary aim is to draw on expertise in the East of England region and beyond and to spark meaningful collaboration and partnerships with organisations, researchers, practitioners, and survivors across the UK and internationally.

DARNet is currently based in the Institute for Social Justice & Crime.
