Maintaining cleanliness within St Richards Hospital
The Domestics Department are looking to recruit a Domestic Assistants to join their team.
The post holder will be responsible for cleaning clinical wards/departments.
Working hours :
Monday - Friday - 08.00-16.30 (Daytime) - 37.5hrs per week
Monday - Friday - 18.00-22.00, 17.00-21.00 (Twilight) 20hrs per week
Work as a team member with a flexible approach within the Facilities Department. To provide a comprehensive service to the Hospital undertaking all cleaning whilst adhering to all Health and Safety, ensuring all areas of allocated cleaning are kept to a high standard, and any other duties deemed within the grading of the post., Cleaning clinical departments to National Cleaning Standards 2021, which training will be provided.
Maintain the confidentiality of information about patients, staff and other health service business in accordance with Trust Policy.
To aid Hospital staff, visitors and patients, following Trust policies and procedures.
Guide and direct visitors and deal with in a helpful and friendly manner.
Ability to communicate sensitive information using tact and diplomacy when dealing with deceased family and friends.
Actively participate in any departmental Information Technology initiative
