Full Job Description
Cleanliness is one of the most important aspects of keeping the clients we work with safe. We have stringent infection control measures, and you will play a vital role in ensuring the service is clean, tidy and a nice place to live.
Working closely with staff and clients, you will create a schedule of work and plan which areas will be cleaned daily and weekly to ensure the service maintains its high standards. You will take responsibility for maintaining equipment and stock levels of materials and chemicals.
This role involves working in a service and you will have daily contact with clients who may present challenging behaviours., · To use materials, equipment and energy safely and economically and ensure that equipment and supplies are kept in a clean and tidy condition and are put away when not in use.
· To maintain high standards of hygiene and wear any protective clothing provided which is relevant to the task.
· To report damaged or unsafe areas and equipment to the senior administrator.
· To report untoward occurrences and/or accidents promptly to the senior administrator.
· To take reasonable care of health and safety of self and other persons whilst at work.
· To contribute to ensuring that the building, its contents and individual possessions are secure.
You will be a caring and well organised person with the ability to adapt to situations quickly as every day is different.
Hold a proven track record of teamwork and working in a face paced environment.
To use your initiative and undertake specific cleaning tasks which may be identified during routine duties.
