Full Job Description

A vacancy has arisen for 2 Domestics (part-time, job share) to join our East Riding Community Hospital team within Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for staff members who are enthusiastic, motivated and have good interpersonal and communication skills to work as part of our teams. The post holder will assist in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for patients, trust staff, and visitors in line with the National Standards of Cleanliness, by delivering a full cleaning service within the centre. Shifts will be Monday-Sunday 16.00-19.00 (can be discussed further at the interview, part-time, job share can be implemented)., Domestics will undertake the following cleaning tasks and duties during a domestic clean:

  • High and low-level dusting.
  • Cleaning of bedrooms and bathrooms.
  • Cleaning of offices and communal spaces.
  • Dusting and polishing of shelves, picture frames, units etc.
  • To maintain a high standard of cleanliness for our patients, staff, and visitors.
