Full Job Description
As a Domestic/Laundry Assistant at MHA, you will be part of a dedicated team who provide a comfortable, safe and hygienic environment for residents and staff. Duties will be varied and include cleaning and general tidiness of a designated areas and maintaining the standards required. Washing, drying, ironing and repairing laundry items for residents. Every day will be different, and you'll have the opportunity to use your people skills to make a real difference.
The right values, attitude and behaviours are more important than your previous career background. Therefore, whilst previous experience is desirable, your respect for older people and willingness to undertake training is more important. You don't need any qualifications to get started as a Domestic Assistant. You will have a kind, warm and caring nature and be able to work well as part of a team but also use your own initiative.
