Domiciliary Care Worker

As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their daily activities and ensuring their well-being. Your responsibilities will include:

o PERSONAL CARE: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene tasks.
o MOBILITY SUPPORT: Helping clients with mobility and transfers, using aids as necessary.
o MEDICATION MANAGEMENT: Administering medications as prescribed and maintaining accurate records.
o MEAL PREPARATION: Planning and preparing nutritious meals, taking into account any dietary restrictions.
o HOUSEHOLD TASKS: Performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
o COMPANIONSHIP: Providing emotional support and companionship, engaging in activities that promote mental and physical well-being.
o HEALTH MONITORING: Observing and reporting any changes in clients health and behaviour to appropriate healthcare professionals.
o DOCUMENTATION: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and client progress.

o EXPERIENCE: Previous experience as a Domiciliary Care Worker or in a similar role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
o QUALIFICATIONS: A relevant certification in health and social care is a plus.
o SKILLS: Strong communication skills, empathy, patience, and a caring nature.
o FLEXIBILITY: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
o BACKGROUND CHECK: Successful completion of a background check is required.
