Applicants with previous optical experience need only apply and you must be a confident driver and have a full and clean driving licence. We are seeking a highly motivated, friendly and reliable Optical Assistant to work with us in and around South and West Wales, and join our welcoming, experienced and dedicated domiciliary team at Specsavers Home Visits Gwent Team. As a Domiciliary Optical Assistant, you will ensure the delivery of a high quality professional service to our patients in their own homes or in care homes. You must have high standards of dispensing, and excellent customer care to ensure every customer has a great experience with us. Working alongside Directors Amy and Katie, you will be supported in your journey with the Home Visits team as well as having great opportunities for career development. If you are looking for a change from the High Street and want more diversity and freedom in your working day, then this role could be perfect for you. Spend quality time with each patient, get to know their optical needs, get out of the office and see the countryside, and meet some marvellous characters along the way.     Status: Permanent role, working ideally 5 days per week, Monday to Friday - 8am to 6pm (commute included, flexibility required)
  • Salary and benefits: £25,000 starting salary depending on experience plus a company car,
  • Up to £135 cover for general dental treatment, up to £150 towards chiropody/podiatry, and many more cash benefits.
