Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available to support adults to live fulfilling, meaningful and independent lives.
As a Domiciliary Service Organiser (DSO) in Extra Care, you will support and lead a team of care staff in the Oakland Village Extra Care setting on a part time basis. The position is 4 days per week and you will work alongside an established DSO on a rotational basis. This will include weekend and bank holiday working at times on a 5 from 7 day basis.
Your role will include mentoring and leadership of colleagues, organising rota's, developing individual service plans as well as other tasks. Key to the role is ensuring safe and dignified care provision for people living in Extra Care who need that bit of extra support to remain independent.
The post is initially for 6 months from the start date although may increase following review. We would welcome secondments with the approval of your line Manager. We offer full training and career progression.
