Door Engineer Labourer

We are looking for a Labourer to work alongside a Mechanical Door Engineer working with roller shutter door installations on designated appointments across in the North East.. As a Labourer, you will be assisting with the servicing and repairing a range of automatic doors, including high-speed doors, security roller shutters, fire roller shutters and sectional doors.(no call outs) Working as part of a team, you will travel to various sites in the North East but may have the odd overnight stay, We will pay accommodation, bed and breakfast and an evening meal allowance. We are looking for someone ideally with Mechanical and electrical experience due to the type of door you will be working on. Key duties / responsibilities

• Assisting with the repair, service, install a full range of commercial and industrial doors.
• Assisting with Electrical wiring first and second fix, connection, test and fault-finding experience with single and three phase control panels and electrical installations.
• Reading of drawings and technical instructions.
• Driving between appointment sites.
• Keeping van stock level records and tracking parts correct for the required work plan.
• Completion of all required documentation and ability to use tablet & mobile phone data entry as required in both receiving instructions and logging all competed calls with adherence to procedures.
  
  Similar experience & capability
• Mechanical experience & capabilities in repairing electro-mechanical equipment
• Ideally Industrial door experience
• Full driving licence - no more than 6 points
• Valid CSCS
• Valid IPAF
  
  Overtime paid at time and half or double time
