Full Job Description

I am a 22 year old man living in Waunceirch. I have Autism and a moderate learning difficulty. I like to be independent and I am very chatty. I like going for walks and I am very interested in animals. I enjoy being on public transport. I enjoy video games and watching Marvel, Anime and YouTube. Routine is important to me.

I don't like loud noises and crowded places. I don't like the rain and the wind. I do not have any safety awareness with others, and a PA would need to keep me safe and support me with my spatial awareness around people.

I am looking for a PA to help me volunteer at an animal shelter, go for a walk and go into town for some shopping and to a café. I would also like the PA to support me in going swimming and to the cinema.

I also want the PA to support me at home with being independent if the weather is not nice for us to go out. I need the PA to help me make basic meals and use the microwave, do the dishes and clean my room. Once these tasks are done, the PA can keep me company by playing video games for a short while.

Male PA preferred
Experience of supporting someone with Autism is preferred
Will take the time to get to know me and able to recognise my triggers
Car driver preferred but not essential
Is happy to walk or use public transport
Likes animals and is willing to attend a shelter
Is chatty
Can motivate me at home and encourage me to do tasks
Reliable and honest
