Full Job Description

Our growing Out of Hours Emergency Drainage, Plumbing and make safe department requires 2 experienced Plumbing and Drainage Engineers to join our team to complete reactive and planned maintenance repairs in domestic/residential homes.

Daily Duties will include

  • Clearing internal drain blockages using all manual methods and mechanical methods


  • Clearing external drain blockages using all manual and mechanical methods


  • Fixing Internal plumbing Leaks


  • Window Board ups


  • Basic Lock Changes, forced entry and make safe to doors


  • Using a PDA device to receive, acknowledge and report works

  • Lone Working

  • Reporting and measurement of remedial works required following emergency attendance to make safe

    You will need experience of Driving a medium size van and using a High Pressure Water jet Pack along with clearing drain blockages using manual and mechanical means

  • Knowledge and experience of repairing drain lines

  • Repairing Plumbing leaks in a residential dwelling


  • Experience of Working safely in line with HSE and industry standards

  • 2 Years of working as a Drainage and or Plumbing engineer on residential homes, drainage: 2 years (required)

  • plumbing: 2 years (required)


  • Licence/Certification:
  • CSCS card (preferred)

  • Driving Licence (required)

  • DBS Check Certificate (preferred)

  • Working Hours are On-site for 4 days 5.00 PM to finish Monday to Friday and 1 weekend shift 8.00AM to Finish, approx 5.00PM or 5.00PM to Finish


  • Overtime and additional shift are also available

    Pay: £32,240.00-£58,240.00 per year
