Draughting Engineer

+ [As a Drafting Engineer, you will be responsible for providing drafting support for the Durr Universal Engineering team based out of Hinckley.]
+ [You will create manufacturing drawings from 3D models for release to production at the nominated supplier. ]
+ [You will be expected to take on acoustic engineering applications as part of your personal development with a view to moving into a Customer Support Engineer role in circa 24 months from appointment. Timescale will be based on personal progress v training plan. ]

+ [With a HNC in a Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related technical field, or equivalent level of experience, you will need to have previous experience in a drafting role using AutoCAD, Creo, Microstation and/or Solidworks.]
+ [You will have an understanding of manufacturing processes, including light/medium gauge fabrication, paint / finishing with experience of producing associated drawings that meet both Company standards and customer requirements.]
+ [Strong analytical, engineering and reasoning skills are required for this role.]
+ [You will need to be self motivated with the drive and commitment to succeed. A high degree of computer literacy, strong oral and written communication skills and excellent numeracy skills are essential. ]
+ [You must have a logical and systematic approach to tasks with the ability to prioritise workloads and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. You will need to have a flexible approach and be able to work independently and within a team. ]
+ [You should be flexible with regard to travel since projects may occasionally take you around both the UK and overseas, normally for short periods of time.]
