Full Job Description

The Supply Chain Manager at WatchHouse will play a fundamental right ole in shaping the future of our supply chain and logistics operations.

A strategic thinker with a talent for optimising supply chain efficiencies, the Supply Chain Manager will have a strong ability for data analytics, turning this information into decisions to enhance efficiencies, productivity, and cost effectiveness across the board. Driving innovation and excellence through every facet of the supply chain process.

They will manage logistics, update and analyse inventory and perform analyses to the supply chain data. ensure seamless operations from planning to execution.

Directly reports into (Line Manager) : Food Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading supply chain improvement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance efficiency. Developing action plans to increase profitability through supply chain optimisation.

Produce and Implement Service Level Agreements across the business, outlining the level of service expected.

Ensure all in House deliveries and On Time and In Full in line with agreed SLA.

Ensure waste is managed across product lines and is line with budget.

Manage all warehousing across the business and service House's as needed, liaising with Managers and being the primary point of contact for stock held.

Manage forecasting and availability to ensure all SKUs remain in stock and available to order.

In charge of logistics, ensuring we have planned the best way to get products from suppliers and/or internal deliveries to our warehousing or Houses as necessary.

Contract negotiation and management, ensuring we have the best deals with suppliers and are undertaking cost reviews regularly.

Reviewing and updating supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws and regulations

Negotiating terms and prices with freight companies, monitoring and assessing their performance and maintaining cost-effective practices

Analysing the supply chain data and solving any issues or putting alternative plans in place

Managing inventory, packing and distributing

Developing safety guidelines, teaching and enforcing the protocols

A high level of initiative and problem-solving skills are vital for success in this role

Clear and concise communication, verbal and written.

Meticulous attention to detail, process oriented.

They should be able to implement and develop innovative and excellent relations with suppliers to

ensure products are purchased at the necessary competitive price level.

Positive can-do attitude and work ethic.

Reliable and diligent with a focus on producing timely and accurate reporting.

Punctual and reliable.

Ability to work with focus, and take responsibility and constructive feedback for work completed.
