Full Job Description

The GP out of hours service will be accessed through the NHS 111 service and the Clinical Assessment Service. The OOHs GP Home visiting service will operate after 6:30pm weekday nights and 24 hours a day weekends and bank holidays. We are looking for individuals with good working knowledge of health services and a full UK driving licence to drive our clinical staff to patient home visits during the OOHs period. Shifts will be available on an ad-hoc basis via our Temporary staffing team.,

  • To deliver a safe and effective level of driving and support to clinical staff in the OOHs period
  • To follow service and trust policies and procedures in checking and maintaining fleet vehicles
  • Maintain accountability to service manager and report any discrepancies or concerns
  • Good communication skills and proven track record of team working
